Privacy Policy
Last Updated • Apr 28, 2026
This policy explains how Ava Associates LLC ("we," "us," "our") handles information associated with the lol.gl service at lol.gl. It covers account data, product content, email, optional SMS and voice, billing, integrations, and provider review. It does not create rights beyond our actual practices and any applicable law.
Who This Applies To
lol.gl is a software and infrastructure product for adults operating professional or personal projects. The service is not intended for, or directed to, children under 16. A person under the age at which parental consent is required in their area may not use the service; contact us if information appears to have been collected in error.
The data controller for personal information in connection with this policy is Ava Associates LLC. The official site for the product is lol.gl.
Information We Collect
We collect the information a user provides when registering, opening support tickets, or using the product, including name or display name, email, password (never stored in plain form), billing details handled by payment processors, and optional phone number when the user chooses to provide one.
We collect content and files added to the service (prompts, configuration, uploads), usage and technical data (rough location from IP, device and browser type, event logs, delivery and error data), and communications sent to us, including for compliance and account protection.
We also collect or derive metadata needed to operate messaging and phone features: for example, message and call timestamps, routing identifiers as returned by communications providers, opt-in and opt-out state for each handset, and the fact of an AI or recorded voice in a call when the user has consented to that path.
When a user connects or stores third-party provider credentials, we store and use those credentials only to verify the provider account and run configured product workflows. Examples include AI model APIs, media generation services, cloud infrastructure, storage, payments, domain tools, and deployment services.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide, protect, and improve the service; authenticate users; deliver email, SMS, voice, and product notifications users have requested or are permitted to receive; enforce our terms; comply with law; and respond to security incidents, abuse, and fraud.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use email addresses, SMS opt-in data, mobile numbers, or consent records as lists for third-party marketing. Product communications are limited to account, security, billing, support, onboarding, service updates, and user-configured product flows.
If a user interacts with lol.gl by SMS, we use the number, message text, and delivery data to provide the product, run STOP/START/HELP handling, keep audit evidence for consent, and support delivery troubleshooting. If a user uses voice, we use call-related data only as needed to connect the call, transcribe or summarize where the product does so, and for billing and support.
How We Share Information
We share information with subprocessors and infrastructure vendors that need it to run lol.gl, always under terms that require appropriate security and use limitations (hosting, database, storage, email delivery, billing, analytics, AI model APIs, and similar).
To deliver communications we share information with email, telecommunications, and messaging partners only insofar as needed to route, bill, troubleshoot, prevent abuse, and satisfy lawful provider registration or recordkeeping requirements. That is operational sharing, not a sale to advertisers.
We may disclose information when required by law, valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of users, us, and others, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets where personal data may transfer to a successor under substantially similar terms.
Security and Retention
We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards that match the size and type of the service, including access controls, encryption in transit, and review of high-risk account actions where applicable.
We retain data only for as long as we need to provide the product, meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention for messaging consent and delivery logs is aligned with communications provider, audit, and product requirements and may be longer for metadata than for some message bodies where we minimize storage.
User Choices
SMS, Email, and Privacy Rights
Email: users can contact support@lol.gl to change account communication preferences. Marketing email, if introduced, will include an unsubscribe path. SMS: reply STOP to opt out of the lol.gl SMS program, HELP for help, and (where the program supports it) START to re-enable after a prior opt-out, as described in the SMS Program Terms. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to SMS is not a condition of purchase of unrelated services where the law so provides.
For voice, separate explicit consent applies where the product offers AI or automated calls; users may opt out in product settings and by contacting us when available.
California and other U.S. residents may have the right to request access, correction, and deletion, and to know whether we “sell” or “share” personal information as those terms are defined in state law. We do not sell mobile opt-in data. To exercise rights, use the same contact as below. We verify the requester as required before responding to sensitive requests.
International Processing and Changes
When we process data, we do so in compliance with the roles and regions applicable to the account. If we transfer data across borders, we do so with appropriate mechanisms where required. Contact us for a country-specific summary.
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” line at the top of this page applies to this text. We will not reduce user rights for SMS opt-in, STOP/HELP, or the non-sale of mobile consents without a clear, lawful basis and, where a user has an account, reasonable notice in product or by email for material changes.
